After their midweek dumping from the FA Cup Liverpool failed to beat Stoke, Robert Huth scoring in the last minute. We were poor again. Plenty of fight and energy but no creativity at all. It's got to a point where in public I talk about writing off the season and looking forward to the World Cup. Obviously this is not really the case. Liverpool's performances continue to dovetail between mediocre and dire and I feel it a lot. Rafa Benitez's time is up, the club needs new owners or at the least major new investment and a new ground is becoming more and more important as other sides move beyond us.
I can't help but wonder if Liverpool's history and legacy is being destroyed forever. Will we ever scale the heights again and win the League, or will I just be fortunate to be able to say, 'I saw that happen in my life time?'
Sad times.
And on the domestic front my gas boiler is still not fixed so another few days of camping in the lounge for me.
However there has been some positive stuff happening, I just can't write about them here. So a shit day in amongst some others that are made of rose petals or something. Oh and on a really happy note, that I can talk about, I sorted AT's PC and iTunes. One happy Ledger then.
I'll leave you today with this. I'm still not totally convinced there's not some CGI trickery going on here but apparently this is all done with projectors. Fricking cool though, however it's done. Enjoy.
