Overnight rain had turned the green fields of Robin Hill into a mud fest, but to be honest it barely mattered. The weather stayed dry all afternoon, so the mud remained a comedy side show to fancy dress day, turning anyone in a white outfit brown.
Bands wise this was the big day on the main stage and Munford and The Flaming Lips didn't dissapoint, Wayne Coyne and Co putting on the show of the weekend so far. You know you're having a good time when even the old duffer Bryan Ferry keeps you grinning from ear to ear.
Bestival is cool as for discovering new bands and Darwin Deez in the Fire Field yesterday were just fab, the inspired dance routines between songs just aces. Cheers to Gos and Lol for the heads up.
Today there is sun and the kids are coming up with us for a few hours. Tonight, the Prodigy. Sweet.
